Applied Behavior Analysis

In order to provide the highest quality of care to all the people we support, QMA offers applied behavior analysis services. Using an in-house team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), we are able to evaluate individuals’ behaviors to better grasp their hopes, needs, and dreams. Rather than looking to punish a person for “acting out” in a unique or “strange” way, we seek to understand why people behave the ways they do. With the insight gained from this analysis, our team can develop alternative, productive behaviors to replace aberrant, harmful, or self-injurious ones.

Our analysts fuse traditional analytic and behavior modification techniques with holistic methods and technologies. We see each person as an individual, and we cater our strategies to meet the distinctive needs of each consumer. This innovative approach often helps achieve unparalleled learning, growth, and skill development in the people we support.

In addition to our work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, our behavior analysts can provide interventions relating to autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We know that the autism spectrum is very broad, so we don’t rely on general ASD techniques. Instead, we take the time to get to know every individual we serve on a personal level. This means that your loved one receives the best care we can provide, customized for their individual needs.

Our applied behavior analysis services are available in both New Jersey and Delaware. Contact us today for more information.
